Code Sculpt Solutions is a studio in Cebu making web, mobile, and custom systems for teams who care about how things feel — not just how they work.

About the studio

Tech with the soul
of an artist.

Code Sculpt Solutions is a solo studio out of Cebu, Philippines. One builder, no handoffs — every project runs from the first wireframe to the final deploy through the same hands.

Since 2021 we've shipped a data management system for city government, led design on a fintech product, built mobile apps in React Native, and made production templates for software teams in Australia. Different stacks, different industries — same obsession with craft.

Stack

We build production-grade web applications with React, Next.js, and TypeScript, and cross-platform mobile apps using React Native and Expo, maintaining a unified codebase whenever it adds leverage. We design scalable, component-driven systems with Tailwind CSS and shadcn/ui, prioritizing performance, accessibility, and long-term maintainability.

We architect backend systems with Node.js, API routes, and RPC-driven services, and deploy cloud-native infrastructure on AWS (S3, Lambda, EC2, CloudFront, RDS) with automated CI/CD pipelines. We select the right data layer — PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Supabase, Firebase, or Drizzle ORM — and enforce end-to-end type safety using tRPC and Zod.

What we build

Web Development

Production-ready web apps built in Next.js, React, and TypeScript. Fast, accessible, and shaped around how your users actually move through them — not just how they look in a browser window.

Next.js · React · TypeScriptPerformance & SEOCMS integration · WordPressE-commerce · Checkout flows

Mobile Apps

Cross-platform mobile apps with a single React Native + Expo codebase — iOS and Android, without the duplication. We've shipped to the App Store and Google Play. The unglamorous deployment bits are handled.

UI/UX Design

Design that starts with your users and ends with a working system. User research, wireframes, high-fidelity prototypes, and design systems built in Figma — then handed over in a state a developer can actually use.

Custom Systems

Internal tools, admin dashboards, data management systems, and government-grade web platforms. The kind of software that nobody sees but everyone depends on. Built to last, not to demo.

How we work

Discover

Understanding the problem before touching a tool. Conversations, context, constraints. What are you actually trying to solve — and for who?

Studio notes

Last updated: May 2026

“The best code I ever wrote is the code I talked myself out of writing.”

Studio humor

“99 little bugs in the code. Take one down, patch it around. 127 little bugs in the code.”

— every senior dev, 3am

Lesson from Budqo

FlatList with unstable keyExtractor keys causes re-render thrash invisible in dev — only shows up in production on a 4-year-old Android. Profile on the actual device, not the simulator.

On building for government

The users who benefit most from good software are the ones nobody designs for — the clerk processing 200 forms a day. Make it fast, make it keyboard-friendly, make it survive a four-year-old Firefox install. Speed is a feature they'll never thank you for but will feel every single day.

Hot take

A good variable name is worth more than a comment. If you need a comment to explain what the name means, the name is wrong.
